Blaue Brigitte is a rooftop bar in the heart of Innsbruck, located on the sixth floor of the Weisses Kreuz hotel. It offers a variety of drinks, regional delicacies, and a view of the city and the mountains.
I found the staff to be a bit robotic, with zero personality. The venue itself is nice…chic and modern, but the complete lack of ambiance was quite evident.
For me this is the perfect bar to hang out with some friends and talk. Usually plenty of room with comfortable seating and great volume. The cocktails are nice but for me, all I need is some Montenegro and I’m happy. The waiter we get is usually very friendly.
I used to love this place and came here every time I was in Innsbruck… before today. We came with our friends to spend a lovely evening. One of us did not like the cocktail (it was very strong and she took just one small sip) and asked if that is possible to change it. They were really unhappy to hear that, did a new one but charged for both. The waiter was really unfriendly with all of us even before this incident, some of the drinks were “thrown” on the table with contempt even though we were respecting the service from the very beginning and trying to speak German. I do not know if that kind of behavior from the waiter was because we are not Austrians or because one of us did not like the cocktail that was made for her, but all of us had a really unpleasant experience and we were really disappointed but this kind of behavior towards us. Never coming here again.
